Summer is upon us – it is a hot time to make some summer resolutions. Pick one (or more) of these to accomplish over the summer:

Anticipate where the issues will be. Address them now. Double the number of Preventive Actions (don't wait for the need to do a Corrective Action).
Find out what your Safety and Environmental managers know about ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 – do they believe in Management Systems?
Complete all Internal Audits on-time.
Start to have at least one trained Internal Auditor in each department/area of your organization.
Publicize at least one benefit per month you get from being ISO 9001 registered – include the $ saved or generated.
